See the future of VR applications with these sponsored sessions at VRDC Fall 2017!

Today, VRDC Fall 2017 organizers want to highlight some great sponsored sessions you can take part in during the show. One of the key missions for VRDC is bringing attendees together with industry leaders who have achieved success in the VR/AR/MR industries.

To that end, organizers are keen to highlight sponsored sessions that aim to deliver practical learnings gleaned from those who have been there and done that.

Attend VRDC Fall 2017 to learn about immersive games & entertainment, brand experiences, and innovative use cases across industries.

First up we have the talk “Empowering VR Developers: VIVEPORT at Year One and Beyond”, presented by Viveport. Attendees will hear the latest news, updates and brand new revenue opportunities from VIVEPORT. The talk will also discuss how successful developers are leveraging the service to grow and extend their content’s reach and earn more revenue.

There’s also the sessionIntroducing Windows Mixed Reality”presented by Microsoft. Attendees will learn about the Windows Mixed Reality platform, supports the entire spectrum of devices from AR to VR. Devices built for Windows Mixed Reality feature inside-out tracking which means there is no need to configure a room with external sensors. The session will cover  the foundations of programming on the platform, and what machine configurations are available for developers to target.

And there’s “3DHaptics: The Realistic Touch Sensory Technology in Mid-Air for VR/AR” presented by Miraisens, Inc. which will present important the history of conventional haptics technology,  differentiate between conventional haptics and next generation of haptics, and discuss the new generation of actuator : WLA (wide-range linear actuator) and the basic principle for ‘3DHaptics’ which realize realistic touch sensation in mid-air.

Lastly we have the session “Transforming Healthcare with Virtual Reality” presented by MVI Health Inc. This session will describe a beta application for virtual collaboration, training, and teamwork practice between doctors in the minimally invasive surgery field, built in partnership with Sixense, and the enormous future potential behind this burgeoning technology

Since tickets sold out for the first three VRDC events, VRDC Fall 2017 will offer more sessions and move to a bigger location at the Hilton Union Square in San Francisco, CA September 21-22.
