How do I contact a "live" person for registration help and information?

What is the cost of admission?

I've just registered online, when will I receive my receipt and confirmation?

If you registered and paid online, the final page of the registration process is your receipt and confirmation. Please make certain to make a copy of your receipt for expense purposes as well as any follow-up with the VRDC Registration Department. If you printed an invoice and submitted it with your check payment, we will email you a confirmation and receipt, once your registration is received and processed. Online registration without payment does NOT secure Early registration discount.

Why do I have to create a unique log in and password for my registration?

For your privacy and protection we require anyone registering online to create a unique login for access to their registration. Having a login allows you online access to your receipt, pass selection and information about your registration.

How do I register a Group?

To take advantage of our group discount, your group must consist of 6 or more attendees from the same company and they must be registered at the same time. Additional registrations from the same company added at a later date will not be entitled to the group discount unless they are submitted under the same terms & conditions described here:

Terms and conditions: The group discount of 10% is only valid off the current registration price. No other passes are entitled to the 10% discount and additional discounts, such as Exhibitor or other special discounts are not combinable with the group discount.

When do I receive my badge?

Event badges will NOT be mailed in advance of the event, but can be collected on-site, please refer to the registration hours on your confirmation email. Short range "Touch 'N Go" RFID badges will be in use at VRDC.

Is there a discount available for lodging at VRDC 2016?

Yes, travel details are provided on the travel section of the website.


Conference Schedule

Where can I find a schedule of conference sessions?

Conference session information will be coming soon!

Can I access conference information through the VRDC mobile app?

The VRDC Mobile App can be downloaded to an iPhone or Android device through the App store. The mobile app will be live closer to the show.


Speaking at GDC

I would like to speak at the conference. How do I submit a proposal?

Are there specific subjects that I should submit speaking proposals for?

Yes. The Call for Submissions page has an extensive list of topics that the VRDC would like to cover. Please check the respective Call for Submissions pages for further information.


Other Questions

Americans with Disabilities Act - How can I request assistance?

If you require special assistance, auxiliary aids, interpreters or other reasonable accommodations while at the conference and/or expo, please contact our Operations Department at (415) 947-6348, at least four weeks prior to the event date.

If I am an international attendee, do I need a visa to attend the conference?

Maybe, please view United States visa requirements here. After purchasing a conference pass, the attendee can submit a request for a letter of invitation to the conference. Please email your request for a letter of invitation to the VRDC Registration Department.

Letters of Invitation

Letters of Invitation are usually only required by foreigners who must obtain a VISA in order to attend the conference.

  • All persons who require a Letter of Invitation to attend the conference must be registered and paid in full.
  • Letters of Invitation will only be issued to the registrant and only after the registration is paid in full.
  • Letters of Invitation are only issued in the name of the registrant.
  • Additional documentation may be required in order to complete the letter of invitation and verify your payment. Failure to provide the requested documentation by the specified date may result in the fees previously paid being reversed or returned.

Volunteer

Are there volunteer opportunities at the VRDC?

Unfortunately there are not volunteer opportunities at VRDC 2016.


Cancellation Policy

What is the cancellation policy at VRDC 2016?

If you need to cancel your conference registration you may do so for a full refund, less a $300.00 service charge, until Friday, October 7, 2016. Attendees who register prior to or after the deadline date or who do not cancel in writing by the deadline date are liable for the pass cost and will be charged for the full registration fee.

Sorry, refunds are not available for no-shows. If you are unable to attend the event, we recommend that you send a substitution in your place. Changes to registrations must be presented in written form. Please download the Registration Update Form and fax your cancellation, changes or substitution request to (415) 947-6011, or mail your request to:

Sorry, requests for upgrades received after Friday, October 7, 2016 cannot be accommodated. Upgrade pass requests must be emailed to vrdcregistration@ubm.com along with payment information for the difference in value.
